This One's For Grams and Gramps

In class we writing an ABC Autobiography. For every letter of the alphabet we write a little blurb relating to our lives (mines not little though! People in my class have a paragraph for each letter. I have about a page or two for each letter! Yikes! Bikes! Hehe) This one is my M.

M – Midway
The clean air made the tall Timpanogas Mountains look majestic. The rolling green hills gave a scene similar to Switzerland and the homes were built in traditional Swiss style making it authentic. The townsfolk were friendly and inviting. The Larsen home was on Main Street hidden in a small forest of tall, royal trees with a timid tire swing suspended from a tree in the spacious front yard. The twisting vines covered the outside of the cottage adding sophisticated age to the home. The smell of scrumptious Texas Cake wafted through the air along with the muffled sound of Grandma tickling the piano keys in a sweet, dynamic style as us kids ran about in our adventures. The soft grass felt like fur under my tender feet. Brooster, the horse, quietly meandered in the field as we fed the bunny rabbit’s carrots and grass. The mysterious shed held our minds in a state of fear as we ran in and out to get the castle game and all its parts. We listened to the sounds of summer as Grandpa Larsen gently threw a Frisbee for the excited dog named Molly. The summer nights kept us out all night as we enjoyed the good vibes and gazed at the sky overflowing with vibrant stars. Some nights we would watch a meteor shower and talk of the ghosts that inhabited the home. The cool nights held a safe environment as we lay in our sleeping bags on the buoyant trampoline. The mornings were wet from the dew and refreshing. The simple joys of playing with family and enjoying the beautiful landscape bring warmth to my heart. The feelings that Midway can bring to a persons emotions are affectionate and I always enjoy being there.
