Homecoming

Last weekend Amanda went to Homecoming with this kid named Mark. Anna helped her get ready again and this time I got to be there. She got ready and he picked her up. Me and a bunch of kids had a little party for whom ever didn't go to homecoming. We went bowling at the sunset bowling center and had a gay old time. Tyler got 1st place and I got 2nd. Anna was next and Suzie got last cause she was getting a lot of gutterballs. I was just about to whip out my mad bowling skills but decided I actually wanted to do a good job so I didn't do any twisted sisters or slippery Germans. After we bowled 1 game we went over to a gas station to get some ice because we were going to go ice blocking and that gas station had huge blocks of ice, but the gas station was closed. So then we decided to go to Harmons, get some marshmellows, and go to my house to roast mellows by our campfire pit. We got the marshmellows after searching for about 20 minutes then headed over to my house. We got there and remembered that we didn't have any fire wood so we scavenged around the neighboring construction sites and found some wood. We we lit her up we remembered that it had rained that morning. The wood didn't stay on fire so I had to keep feeding it paper so that people could roast the mellows which were all stuck together and they would just melt off the sticks so that was a dud. People finally started to leave around 12 and then the wood started to burn. Amanda got back from the dance and then everyone left except for a few people. Our neighbors, Colton and Max, stayed till 1:30 and we talked about our childhood's. You know, things like Pokemon cards and the local roller blading rink. Anyway, they left and we went to sleep. It was a fun weekend. This weekend was fun too. We have been partying ever since school started and it is awesome. Next time I will fill you in on our most recent adventures with the breakfast club (not really. Just our big group of friends).

Life so far

Well I haven't written in a while because I have been really busy. My family went school shopping in Park City and after that we just chilled until school started. On the first day of school I went to all my classes, which are awesome, and had a cool day. At lunch I figured out that I had Drivers Ed after school so I had to stay after. Anyway, I got to talking with my english teacher and she said it was her first year teaching in St. George. She had just moved from Heber City (because she got married) and she was missing it a lot. She taught at Wasatch High School. I said that my dad and step family lived there and my step mom was the secretary there at the High School. She knew her and she said that she taught her daughter Elyse, my sister from another mister. I was so excited to know someone that knew my family and knew about Heber. She was also excited. Her name is Mrs. Wiese, but I forgot her name before she was married. She is crazy, but I think she is cool. Anyway I have Mr. Miller for art class. My dad had him so that's cool but I really wanted to get Mr. Jones. He is a goooooooood teacher. Amanda has him now for AP Studio Art and I keep telling him that I want him for drawing but there is nothing he can do. The dumb people took away all his drawing classes and gave them to Miller. It is lame. Anyway so everyday Amanda and I went to Tennis @ 6:00 in the morning, school, then I went to Drivers Ed till 6:00PM. So for 2 and 1/2 weeks I was at the school for 12 hours everyday. But now driver's ed is over. I am really happy that it is. I got my permit so now i just have to practice and then drive with the instructor and I get my licsence. Yippe.

On Thursday we had a Tennis match in Cedar. Tess, student body president, and I played a doubles match and completely creamed them and had a really fun time. The score was 8 to 0. Tess is really funny so we had a lot of laughs and finally got the girls we were playing to laugh with us. It was hard but we got them to laugh and talk. That was a fun match. I think I would want to have her be my doubles partner if that was ok with coach. Anyway this weekend was packed with good times. So Friday after school me, Amanda, Natalie, and Keirstin went to a mexican restraunt and ate burritos. They were good. After that we went over to The Jordan's house and to our suprise Tyler, Derek, Carson, and Nick were over. So we go in and hang with them for a while. They are really funny kids. Keirstin and Natalie had to leave and Carson and Nick had to also. So Me, Amanda, Anna, Suzie, Sharise, Tyler, Derek, Nick, and Carson go over to Tyler's house because Carson's car was there. They leave and the rest of us chilled in Tyler's room and listened to his records on his turn table. Then it was time for Tyler to go to work ( at Pizza Factory) so me, Amanda, Anna, Suzie, and Sharise went back over to Anna & Suzzie's house( The Jordan's) and decided what to do next. We decided to got eat at Pizza Factory and visit Tyler then swing by the football game. We got to the football game a little later than we expected. It was Half time and Natalie was getting off of work so Amanda decides to call her to tell her to come to the game. When she was on the phone this kid Mark Jones asked Amanda to homecoming over the intercom thing and everyone at the football game heard except for, of course, Amanda. Well we filled her in on what just happened and she decided to answer him back that night so we jammed over to Wal-Mart and got Saran Wrap, Window markers, and some candy. We got to Mark's truck and saran wrapped it, put candy on the seat, and wrote "Yes" all over the windows. It was funny to watch him go over to his truck after the game and try to get through the saran wrap. He couldn't so he got a ride with his buddies. Opps! Well PineView once again won the game 32 to 14 and we all rejoiced. It was a fun night.

Saturday we woke up and went to Veyo Pool because Monday(today) is the last day and we hadn't been there all summer. We usually go to Veyo Pool every week during the summer and we didn't go so we had to get a ffew hours in. We were the first ones there. We ate burgers and swam untill 2:30. We had to leave because we had work at 3:00. So we went to work and had a bad time. I worked till 11:00pm and went home and slept. Then on Sunday we went to church but Amanda got sick so we only went to Sacrament. Then I practiced driving and drove to our Uncle Bruce's house to get some dresses from our cousin Chelci for Amanda. Then I drove home and we ate Cream Of Brocoli soup and we watchedd movies all night.

Today we had our yearly free breakfast at Boulivard Home Furnishings and then looked at some couches. Then we came home cause everyone was in a bad mood and I cleaned my room and now I am typing on here. Bye.

California Day 10, Wednesday July 26

We woke up early and Amanda got 50 dollars for her drawing and then we took off. We drove and drove and drove and drove and drove and then finally we got to Aunt Christina's house at midnight. We slept there and in the morning we took off and got home, watched T.V., and I finished the music video. It is great. The trip was great.

Califonia Day 9, Tuesday July 25

We woke up and started filming. We got a lot of killer clips and then vegged by the pool the rest of the day. We also rode scooters down the steep hill by the house. As soon as it was getting dark we packed all of our things and Amanda finished the drawing she was doing for Aunt Julie. We watched movies and stayed up all night for it was our last night together. In the morning we would be waking up at 5:00AM so we could get to American Fork at a reasonable hour. We watched Even Stevens and Bobanza till Amanda was done with her art piece. Then we went to sleep at 2:00AM.

California Day 8, Monday July 24

As usual we woke up and got ready for the day, ate breakfast, and jumped into the 2 suburbans. This time we were going to Muir Woods/ Muir Beach. We drove up to San Francisco and stopped at the Golden Gate Bridge for a while and took some snapshots. Then we made our way to Muir Beach. The beach was really cool. We decided that it would be fun to film some video clips there so Christopher filmed us frolicking on the beach. We did a couple of clips then chilled on the beach for a while. Then we all made our way over to Muir Woods. We got there and looked at the Redwood trees. It was soooooo cool. We also filmed a clip there. It was fun. We made our way back home and filmed some clips by the pool. Then we got tired and went to sleep excited to film more of the video the next day.

California Day 7, Sunday July 23

Sunday morning we woke up and got ready to go to church. Us four girls went to choir practice with Aunt Julie and my mom. When we were practicing the power went off. We waited for it to come back on and it finally did when everyone was showing up for sacrament meeting. The bishop made an announcement that if the power were to go off again and stay off for a while that we would only attend sacrament and the rest of the meetings would be canceled. So we get all excited thinking it would go off and we would only have sacrament. Half-way through the meeting the power goes off and we were rejoicing. But to our suprisement it came back on. The meeting ended and the air conditioner was not working but everyone still had to go. Well since it wasnt' our ward we told our mom that we didn't want to go so my mom brought me, Amanda, and Megan home and we read, slept, and waited for the rest to return home. The power went off again so I went to sleep. When they came back they woke me up and we had a really good dinner. After dinner the power was still off and Uncle Russ had a fabulous idea that all the kids agreed with, but not the Mom's. The plan was that if the power stayed off then we should all jump in the pool. Well as time went by all the kids were going crazy, and getting louder and louder, and all the older kids playing spoons and also getting louder and louder till the parents couldn't stand it any longer, they finally broke and let us swim. 20 minutes later the power came back on but we still stayed in the pool till dark. We got tired and went to bed planning our next adventure to the Muir Woods.

California Day 6, Saturday July 22

Saturday morning we woke up and had our cereal for breakfast. Me, Amanda, Christopher, Allison, Megan, Aunt Christina, my Mom, and Uncle Russ set out for Coyote Lake. The lake was about 30 minutes away so we woke up pretty early. On the way there we watched Mr. Deeds and stopped by Wal-mart to get a pump so we could pump up the big water floaty thing. Then we made our way up the mountain to the hidden lake. When we arrived we rode around on the Mastercraft for a while then took a swim in the surprisingly warm water. Then we decided what we were going to do. Christina wanted to ski so we let her do that and she was good. Then we all had our turns and had lunch and stuff. Then we got on the floaty thing which fit 5 people and rode on that for a while which was really fun. Then we went to the dock and hooked up the boat and went to In-and-Out Burger. We had our delicous burgers and Russ got me, Amanda, Megan, and Allison an In-and-Out Burger t-shirt. We were all excited while we made our way back to the suburban. We drove back to Saratoga while we watched the new Pride and Prejudice. When we got home we watched the rest of the movie and planned on when we were going to film the music video. We watched Ever After until we were too tired then we went to sleep.
