Snow in St.G

So the Smith's came over for the annual Super Bowl Party. The kids were crazy and running wild. The game was boring then the half time show came up and we all watched Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers rock it up. Tom Petty had a killer lumberjack beard and his usual above the shoulder straight blonde hair. That was the best half time show I have ever seen!!!! Plus I grew up to Tom Petty so maybe that's why I loved it so much. But then the game started up again and it started getting good. Then the dish started to trip out and we had to go upstairs to Amanda's room and pull the screen out to brush off the dish with a broom. The dish was getting pelted with snow! Anyways so the game came back on and we watched some more. Things were starting to get intense and the dish freaks out again. Greg runs upstairs and fixes it. The game comes back on and the game turned out to be really cool. The Giants won and the house was crazy. The underdogs had pulled through. Then we watched some old SNL stuff on our Tivo and ate some more junk. Then we watched an old episode of the coolest show ever-Moonlight. Then the Smith's went home and I stayed up and wrote my articles for the newspaper, did my math homework, and wrote a poem for class. It was great and we were hoping for a snow day the morning. The roads were icy and the radio station kept saying that there was still school so I dragged myself to school and took a math test. I was surprised to see a bunch of snow still on the ground. Today is 3 days later and our front lawn still has a huge ball of snow and the vines still have snow draped on them! I am going crazy! Everytime I look outside I feel like I am lost cause the snow on the hills confuses me.

My B-day (January 31st)

On Thursday morning I woke up and started to get ready for school. My mom came in and sang to me and gave me a new wallet cause my old one was stolen!!!!! Why can't everyone just be honest and trustworthy? Anyways, so I went to school and my creative writing teacher gave me a pack of gum and the class stood on their chairs and sang the old Shoneys song to me. Then I went to math class and I started feeling like a cold was comin' on, so after lunch I went home and hung around. Mom and Amanda came home and I opened the rest of my presents (a hand pump to pump up my old basketballs, a beef jerky stick, a Wii game called The Sims: Castaway, a pillow with Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom from the Pirates of the Carribean movie, and An Affair to Remember movie) then my aunt called and said that she heard my name on 99.9 radio station that said I had won a cake and flowers for my b-day cause my mom called in. We went past the radio station, but it was closed so we kept going over to Samari 21 steakhouse and sushi restaurant. It was fabulous. I even tried the California Roll sushi and shrimp and stuff. It was my first time eating all that. It was weird at first but then I liked it. I ordered chicken and rice and vegetables. It was so good. The chef guy was cool and he was good at twirling around all the food and knives and stuff. Then we went home and ate cake and watched celebrity Apprentice. Grandma Larsen called and I talked to her and Grandpa. I got an e-mail from Cherie but I still hadn't heard from my dad. The next day I slept in and didn't go to school. Instead I played my new Sim's game all day. Then my mom went and got the flowers and cake and we ate. Then we watched T.V. all night.
