California Trip: Day 4. Wednesday, June 27th

On Wednesday morning we all woke up and got ready to go to the beach. We drove to Los Gatos to pick up Allison and then headed for Santa Cruz. We drove in searching for a parking spot. Aunt Julie spotted one and told Christina to get it. While Christina tried to understand what she was saying, she saw the parking spot and also some lady in her silver car trying to snake it. So she gunned it and slipped right in while we were trying to explain to the lady that we were waiting for Christina's car to get the spot, but as we explained she just looked more and more guilty so we decided that she knew what was going on the entire time but thought she would try to sneak in. Nice lady! Anyways, so it took us all a while to find parking spots on the side of the road and then get everyone out then hand them each something from the trunk. I carried some fold out chairs. We walked down the road a ways to the entrance and then walked some more till we found a spot on the beach. Then we played in the ocean and what not. Me, my mom, Amanda, Allison, Megan, and Aunt Larene went down to the light house and looked around. It was cool. Then we came back and shot some scenes for my music video that we make every year, and people looked at us like we were crazy! After a few hours we decided to pack up and head for In-N-Out Burger. The food was simply delish! Brogan my 10 year old cousin ate a double-double with fries and a chocolate shake. Wow! I can't eat that! I don't know how kids eat that much! After we had recieved our hats we decided it was time to go back to Aunt Julies and chill. So we did. Then we crashed our heads into our pillows and called it a night.

California Trip: Day 3. Tuesday, June 26

We woke up early in the morning from the sound of pitter patter on the wood floors and kids screaming, yelling, and laughing at the top of their lungs (plus Allisons alarm- her cell phone rang Linger by The Cranberries-poor girl had to do summer school that week). Anyways we rolled out of bed by about 9:30 and ate breakfast. Mush with a variety of fruit. Then Addyson, Megan, and I got in the pool with all the other hoodylums while Julie, Mom, and Amanda went to pick up Allison and go to the store. When they got back we blasted Beautiful Day by U2 and brainstormed for my reflections video. We ate lunch-sandwhiches-then swam again until dinner-yummy lasagna-and chilled by the pool. Then we went to bed.

California Trip: Day 2.Monday,June 25

In the morning I woke up to Aunt Christina banging on the door wanting to use my mom's blow dryer. So we get up and pack then wait for Aunt Larene and her family. While waiting Brogan fell and tore up his shirt and knees and Aunt Christina found a dead, mangled bird wedged between the fog light and the bumper. We decided he was our family wingman. As we still waited for Larene we went up to one of Mammoth Lakes and looked around. It was sweet action. Then we came back and got Larene and took off out of Mammoth to a store for some collectables.

Then we took off for Yosemite National Park. We spent the whole day taking pictures and enjoying the sights. We also went in the redwood forest in Yosemite. I forgot what it was called but it had the Grizzly Giant and the big tree tunnel that carriges would go through back in the day when cars didn't exist. We ate dinnner and headed towards Aunt Julies. We got to the house and set up our beds in the room while Christopher pumped up the air mattresses then we went to sleep.
