Easter Weekend!

So Firday night we go to Dave Kreitzer & the Embrace concert with my friends Emily and Kadee. It was weird cause it was my teachers sons band. I saw my teacher and his wife there and it was awkward. So Keirstin came down the next day and we were chillin' with her. The annual art festival was hot and hoppin'. After the art festival, Amanda and I were going to go to Zion National Park with all our friends but Anna was at a work thing in Hurrricane and she decided that she wanted to stay there till 4 so she could try and win a new Mustang car! She is a bit too out there! So then Suzie and her cousins still wanted to come and so we planned to go to Snow Canyon. Well I didn't want to drive out there and waste my gas money that no one would probably pay me back for, so we planned to go to Dixie Rock and chill. But then Keirstin calls and says she just wants to veg by the river so we go down to her house cause Suz wasn't texting me back. As soon as we are going down to the river she texted me and told me that Dixie Rock would be fun so I told her that we were at Keirstin's and I was soory for ditching her at the last second. She sounded mad. Anyway so we hung out by the river and Amanda and I got some sun (not Keirstin). We came back and watched Oprah.

Amanda and I still did an easter egg hunt considering the easter bunny totally knows that we are in high school and college. What ev! I love doing things that make me feel like a wee little child. So we do all that then go to church and then come back and watch Dan In Real Life. I freakin' love that movie. Ya Easter was fun!

Spring Break Yo!

On Monday I got a Canon Rebel XTI and it is the coolest thing ever. I can't wait to buy cool things for it like bags and lenses and flashes! Dude! It is the bomb! Any way so Monday we were messing around with my camera and then Anna, Suzie, and their bro Lars came over and we watched The Edge continuously muting it when we thought the "F" bomb was being thrown about. Then after feeling the massive intense rush we put in She's the Man. Hahaha. I love that movie!!!!
Tuesday I rolled out of bed and then Mom, Amanda, and I went to Durango's to get a delicous salad. It was tres bien ("very good" in french). Then Suzie called and we went hiking on this big rock. She accidently emptied her sandy shoe on my day old camera and it almost gave me an ulcer. But then we went to the park and played frisby. That was fun. After a while we went to our house in the middle of our street. Just kidding. Ya we came home and watched The Jane Austen Book Club and then we watched the best T.V. show ever. Are you ready? Grounded for Life! I love that show! Anyway then Anna came over and we made German Pancakes and fruit salad. It was excellent!
On Wednesday we got ready to head up to Zion National Park. We finally got there and checked into the Majestic View Lodge. Then we drove around and went to the Park Lodge where we took pictures and played frisby. Then when it got cold we drove around some more and took more pictures. That night we ate at Oscars Cafe. It was fabulous! The best burger I have ever had (besides In 'n Out Burger)! And the side salad was amazing! The vinegarette dressing decsended from heaven itself! Anyways, we made our way back to the hotel to watch the results for American Idol! I know! We are on vacation and we still can not escape the tight hold of American Idol intrigue!
The next morning drove through the park and enjoyed the massive rocks and then we went to Sol Foods and got a deli sandwich. Then we vegged by the pool and I got really sunburned! Just my luck! I walk from the school to my car and get a farmers tan! What do you do? Tom and Tiff came with Tanner and Tyler and we had some fun with them. We went down into town and walked through all the shops for about an hour. Then when Amanda's and my allergies got out of hand, we went back and watched Ratatioule(?) and then hopped in the hot tub with Grandma, Mom, Tom, Tiffany, Tanner, and Tyler. It was fun and the stars were incredibly bright and awesome. After that we went to bed and in the night we kept waking up because Amanda would sneeze her brains out, snor, and then move around like crazy. It was bad. I would barely twitch and it would wake me up! The sheets were loud! For some odd reason they sounded like newspaper but they didn't feel like it. It was weird.
Anyway, this morning we woke up and checked out of the hotel, then we drove through some more and hiked the Canyon Overlook Trail with Grandma. Amanda was blazing ahead and I was taking my time. Mom stayed with Grandma but they got halfway and Grandma told mom to just go and she would meet us on the way back. Amanda go there and took some pictures and then as soon as we turned around, mom came and then she wanted some pictures fast. We took some then headed back to help Grandma down but we turned a corner and there she was! So we kept going cause it was really close to the overlook and when we got there we took more pictures and then we finally got near the end and Tom, Tiff, and the boys were coming up. By the time we got to the car with Grandma, Tom and Tiff were coming back down too! Anyway so we hiked Weeping Rock Trail and then went back to Oscars for the killer dinner salad. Amanda bought a dress at the Lazy Lizard and then we were out of there! We got home and watched T.V.
